First Look At Netflix's Death Note Original Film

Netflix's Death Note adapation film will be available on the streaming platform from August 25, and Netflix has offered us the first film still and trailer today.
Based on Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga of the same name, the new adaptation is directed by Adam Wingard and stars Nat Wolff as Light Turner, Lakeith Stanfield as L and Willem Dafoe gives his evil voice as Death Ryuk. Death Note follows a high school student who comes across a supernatural notebook, realising it holds within it a great power; if the owner inscribes someone's name into it while picturing their face, he or she will die. Intoxicated with his new godlike abilities, the young man begins to kill those he deems unworthy of life.
