At the box office area, you can see counters for tickets, snacks and VIP service. On the other side facing the atrium, you can see the self-service ticketing panels.

The cinema is designed based on a European hut so it carries a lot of wooden and stone materials.

Right between the entrances to each house, there is a pitstop where you can wait for your family and friends, and it is filled with charging stations for your phones and devices.

At the entrance, you can use either paper tickets or e-tickets (QR codes from your email, Google Pay or iOS Passbook) to enter. UA K11 Art House is huge and all houses is connected by a U-shaped long corridor. On the first corner, you would find a waiting area and Whitebox (House 4).

And on the second corner, you would find a nice sake bar right next to the Blackbox and IMAX house. There is a wide range of sake you can find here. Definitely pay a visit if you a sake lover.

House 4 is also named Whitebox, which is a multi-purpose house with a foldable stage for conference, talks, performance or film festival q&a sessions. Each seat is equipped with a folded table for conference needs. There is also an additional LED subtitles display for film festival screenings. Outside Whitebox is a seating area, where movie-goers can sit back and relax while waiting for your favourite films.

The VIP house is named Blackbox, which its own washroom and clothing closet and a luxury waiting area. There are a few displays on the wall where you can find out how long before the film starts. There are a total of 26 individual sofa seats with extra leg rest, which you can adjust with controls. Special meals are served in Blackbox, so you can lay back and enjoy.

The most attractive house in UA K11 Art House is, of course, the IMAX House. It is Hong Kong's first IMAX with Laser house, with a screen width of 20.73m plus 12-channel Immersive Sound System. During the press tour, a promotional reel is played where filmmakers like Christopher Nolan and J.J. Abrams talk about the greatness of IMAX format, and the difference between standard IMAX and IMAX with Laser formats. With IMAX with Laser, the image is much more brighter and clear, thanks to the 4K laser projection system. You can see some comparison photos below, but you should definitely experience it yourself, as it will definitely change your movie-going habbit.

UA K11 Art House is on the 4/F in Tsim Sha Tsui's new K11 MUSEA shopping mall. If you go visit it, please be reminded to take more time to get there, as you may need to take some time to get used to the escalators and lifts in this new shopping mall.
