John Hughes 1950-2009

Teen movie maker, John Hughes died Thursday (August 6) of a heart attack while walking on a Manhattan street, at the age of 59. He was visiting his family in New York when he died.

John Hughes was an American film director, writer and producer. He was born in Lansing, Michigan and had his most successful films in 1980s and 1990s, like Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Beethoven, Flubber, 101 Dalmatians and more.
