Noel Gallagher Announces Solo Albums Plan

Ex-Oasis guitarist and main songwriter Noel Gallagher held a press conference yesterday (July 6) to announce his solo album plans. His first solo debut album, Noel Galalgher's High Flying Birds, will be released on October 17 via his own label Sour Mash Records. The album, produced by Noel and David Sardy, will contain 10 new tracks.

He also announced his second album is a collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous. The yet-untitled album is scheduled for release in 2012.
