Li Qi and Ren Yu earn their livings on the seedy edges of Hainanese tourism. By day, Li Qi works as a caretaker and clown in a sea park while Ren Yu exploits his body and his uncanny resemblance to Leslie Cheung in other ways. By night, their camaraderie takes on other dimensions charged with youthful exuberance, electric eroticism and ominous underpinnings.
