Three Colours: Blue

The colour of liberty. But can there be too much? Defining this dilemma is Julie (Juliette Binoche), who rejects her past life after surviving an accident that kills her composer husband, Patrice, and her daughter. Yet, despite her efforts, neither the music nor the relationships of the past, full of questions, fade away... nor will personal connections and objects that link her to the past, to Patrice's student - collaborator and his mistress. In the end, Julie must make choices about both past and future to achieve liberation.
