Two In The Wave

Cinema as we know it would be unimaginable without the crucial friendship between two key figures of the French New Wave: François Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard. The documentary recalls both men's backgrounds as well as their collaboration on the Cahiers du Cinema publication. Despite their work together on short films as well as Godard’s breakthrough Breathless, they later had a very public falling out, and the two men never spoke again. Two In The Wave uses archival footage and clippings to transport us back to those seminal times.
