Alex Turner（來自 Arctic Monkeys）及 Miles Kane（來自 The Rascals）組成 The Last Shadow Puppets。The Last Shadow Puppets 將會於4月14日推出首張細碟 "The Age Of The Understatement"，格式分別有7"黑膠及數碼下載。首張與細碟同名大碟將於4月21日經 Domino Records 推出。

首張細碟的音樂錄影帶由 Romain Gavras 執導，您現在可以到官方網站 www.theageoftheunderstatement.com 觀看闊銀幕版，或在下方收看。錄像於莫斯科拍攝，片段中有溜冰、東正教神父、共產時期的坦克以及由俄羅斯軍人組成的合唱團。歌曲非常的好，有點冷戰時期的感覺，亦令我們對這隊新組合非常興奮。

The Last Shadow Puppets 於去年夏天在位於法國南特附近的 Black Box 錄音室，聯同監製及鼓手 James Ford，利用兩個星期錄製大碟的歌曲。以下為大碟曲目：
