Oasis 靈魂人物及結他手 Noel Gallagher 剛於星期五晚（8月28日）於官網宣佈他將會離隊，原因是他不能跟弟弟兼主音 Liam Gallagher 合作。
他寫道：

"It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.
"Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan."
暫時仍未知道樂隊會否繼續，或 Noel 的離開是否暫時性。不過，Noel 又不是首次離隊，他在1994年、1996年、2000年及2007年均試過離隊。
