The reunion gig for the Sugarcubes took place last Friday (November 17) at Laugardalshöll Arena, Reykjavík, Iceland. The night celebrates the 20th anniversary of The Sugarcubes and Smekkleysa. All profit from the concert goes back into Smekkleysa SM who will continue to work on a non-profit basis for the future betterment of Icelandic music and artists.

On the same night, another Icelandic band Múm also took the stage to perform their first gig for the year. The last gig they played was at the Wall in Taiwan last year.
