Radiohead has been very busy recently... They have released "Nude" in 5 separate stems on Monday (March 31). Fans can buy them and create remixes for the song. Unfortunately, the stems are only available in iTunes stores, thus, HK local citizens cannot buy them... (But maybe you have some alternative channels to get hold of those stems) Fans can upload finished remixes to radioheadremix.com.
The band then gave two live performances at BBC Radio on April 1.
On Thursday (April 3), the band launched their social networking website at waste-central.com. Besides networking functions, it also provides details like tour dates, photos and videos by Radiohead and other artists. Radiohead wrote on the date of the launch:
For those who are interested and want to stick around, we'll be adding plenty more bits and pieces in the coming weeks and ironing out any wrinkles or annoyances the best we can. Hope you find something interesting to play with.
In the meantime, speaking to Pitchfork, Colin claimed that the band is working on new material. He said, "We're actually gonna be working with Nigel again soon. We've reserved time and we've got stuff we want to do. It's like having and old-school executive producer that's talking about the bigger picture and booking time to be creative."
And their previous label, EMI/Parlophone is going to release The Best Of Radiohead on June 2. This is, again like the album boxset last Christmas, not approved by the band. The album will be released on CD, 2CD and 4LP formats. Tracklistings are as follow:
