The 31st Hong Kong Film Awards Winners Announced

Last night, the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards ceremony was held at Culture Centre. A Simple Life wins the major awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and the two main actors, Andy Lau Tak Wah and Deanie Ip, win the Best Actor and Best Actress awards. Although Lau Ching Wan missed the Best Actor awards even with two nominations, Lo Hoi Pang and So Hang Shuen win the Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards with their roles in Life Without Principle. Hsiao Ching Teng wins Best New Actor award with his role in The Killer Who Never Kills. Director Tsang Tsui Shan of Big Blue Lake wins Best New Director award. The box office hit You Are The Apple Of My Eye wins the Best Film Of Mainland And Taiwan award.
