Sony Announces Johnny Cash's 'Complete Columbia Album Collection'

Sony will release a huge Johnny Cash boxset, The Complete Columbia Album Collection, on October 30 via Columbia/Legacy imprint. The boxset (pictured above) will contains 59 albums plus 2 bonus compilations (Johnny Cash With His Hot & Blue Guitar and The Singles, Plus) across 63 discs. It will be accompained by a full-colour booklet containing discographical annotation for each title including chart positions, plus new liner notes from Cash historian Rich Kienzle. Each album is presented in mini LP package CD with original album artwork, including 5 deluxe gatefold albums.
