Plot Synopsis

The mournful Grasslands concerns the theft of a yak that's been "liberated" and allowed to roam free as a means of creating good karma. Elderly Ama Tsomo journeys in search of her stolen yak, delving into a crime against man, Buddhism and traditional Tibetan custom.
