Alexandra

Alexandra, a grandmother of few words played by the 80-year-old legendary opera singer Galina Vishnevskaya, treks thousands of miles to visit her grandson at his army camp inside Chechnya. The camera follows Alexandra around, capturing her as she wanders around the camp and even the combat-stricken streets, befriending herself with the soldiers and civilians there.
