Bobo

Sofia is a reclusive architect who hides away in the seclusion and isolation of her Lisbon apartment. She is haunted by a secret, one that buries her in a deep depression she seems unable to emerge from. Her mother employs Mariama, an African immigrant, as a housemaid for Sofia, and it emerges that Mariama's daughter - the eponymous Bobo - may be at the centre of a controversial dispute over female circumcision.
