The Grand Budapest Hotel [2014]

The film has the visual trademarks of the director - overhead shots, symmetrical shots and clean production design - which are the reason why we love him. He even goes further to split the three different eras by shooting them in three different points. It also carries a chase scene and gun fight scene that only Wes Anderson can carry out with a great balance of serious drama and comical performances. On the storyside, this film's bleak ending which gives the comical adventure before even more enjoyable. This is again a great poetic work by the director.
