Get Out [2017]

Hero

By mixing racial stereotypes into the story, Get Out offers a timely horror film under just a dreadful world ruled by fascists. Black boyfriend visits white girlfriend's suburb family home, and witnesses strange encounters that are ringing all kinds of racism alarms.

A town full of strange old folks, creepy silent (literally) auction, and black people seemingly out of place form the basis of a racism story, yet it all turns to a different direction when the real nightmare begins. It also gives a good visual representation of a hypnotic state. The twist in the ending again subtly reminds everyone the African Americans stereotypes in USA.

A very refreshing new take on a horror subject and full of surprises at every major plot points.
