Spider-Man: Homecoming [2017]

Hero

Finally, Spider-Man's first solo film in Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man: Homecoming feels like a great mixture of Sam Raimi's first two Spider-Man films (2002 & 2004) with the animated TV series Ultimate Spider-Man. There are lots of jokes and humour and high school scenarios with the right amount of action. Not to mention the most awkward going-to-prom scene with dream girl's father. It is great that Marvel/Sony do not retell much of his origin but just some Q&A with Peter Parker's best friend, making the plot tighter.

The amazing supporting cast, especially Marisa Tomei's Aunt May, Zendaya's Michelle J, Jacob Batalon's Ned and Jennifer Connelly's Karen / Suit Lady, gives a lot of depth to the character of Peter Parker and the story.

Just like Batman Begins, this is the story of Spider-Man learning to become a real hero, and this is definitely the best Spider-Man film since Spider-Man 2.

Oh and be patient and wait for the second post-credit scene, you would not be disappointed.
