Set during the fall of the Berlin Wall, Atomic Blonde is a story about the spy war in the background.
Charlize Theron has proven she is a good action film star in Mad Max: Fury Road before, and in Atomic Blonde she provies it again with the stylistic and brutal action sequence. Her co-stars James McAvoy and Sofia Boutella also deliver in acting and fighting.
Even with a great cast and good action sequence (and even a great soundtrack with many 1980s hits), the film falls short on its weak narrative that makes it a bland and flat spy film wannabe.
