The Land Of Hope

In the fictional Nagashima prefecture, the Ono family lives a frugal but happy life as dairy farmers in the peaceful village. One day, the worst earthquake in history strikes, causing a nearby nuclear plant to explode. The Nagashima community is directly within the twenty-kilometre evacuation radius - except for the Ono farm. While the old parents follow the government's advice and stay there, the son has decided to leave as he just learnt about his wife's pregnancy.
