Ponette

4-year-old Ponette (Victoire Thivisol) has been in a car crash when her mommy was driving and dead. Because her father has to work, she is sent to her aunt Claire's house, where she discusses the death with two cousins of her age. Claire tries to console her but her mommy simply can't come back to life like Jesus did. At boarding school, Ponette keeps waiting for her mother to come back and undergoes a series of "trials" set by a mystical girl in hopes of communicating with the dead.
