Shield Of Straw

Based on Kazuhiro Kiuchi's novel. A powerful multi-billionnaire Ninagawa (Tsutomu Yamazaki) puts an irresistible price on the head of the man he believes to be the killer of his 7-years-old granddaughter, by placing advertisements on all newspapers in Japan.

Realising he has become a target of all citizens, Kiyomaru (Tatsuya Fujiwara) turns himself into the Fukuoka Police Station. Five police officers including Mekari (Takao Osawa) and Shiraiwa (Nanako Matsushima) are dispatched to bring Kiyomaru back to Tokyo while billion of potential killers are hiding next to them. They risk their life to protect the suspect in this arduous journey while facing the difficult decision between justice and responsibility.

Will the police transfer Kiyomaru to Tokyo successfully for the final judgement, or will he be killed during the journey?
