Sheer Madness

A story of two very different women. Olga is confident, independent and a very successful literature professor at University. On the other hand, Ruth is vulnerable, has given up her job and withdrawn completely into her own world of painting and attempted suicide. Ruth's husband Franz encourages the women’s friendship, but then, as Olga gradually draws Ruth out and opens up a new world to Ruth, Franz becomes jealous and insecure. After a fierce quarrel between Franz and Olga, Ruth chooses the most disturbing way of revenge.
