'Til Madness Do Us Part

China's foremost documentarian Wang Bing ventures into an isolated mental asylum in the Chinese southwest for an unsparing account of the lives of the 100-odd men who live there. Though these individuals are confined there for various reasons - some have killed, some were just simply abandoned - they all share the same need for human affection. Wang's camera observes like a ghost, silently letting these people's lives unfold.
