Little England

On the wind-swept island of Andros, the local community thrives or dies on the fortunes of its fishing trade. Every father, son, husband and brother must take their place on the boats, while the women eke out a frugal existing in wait of their return.

Again this brutal, unforgiving backdrop, a tragic love triangle emerges between two sisters, Orsa and Moscha, both forced into marriages of convenience and financial reward by their overbearing mother, but both are in fact in love with the same man - Moscha's husband.
