Diary Of A Chambermaid

Célestine (Léa Seydoux) is an ambitious woman striving to improve her circumstances, despite being dictated by contemporary social and gender mores. As the new chambermaid to the Lanlaire household in Provence, the Parisienne-minded Célestine combats against a lewd master, scowls at her icy-cold mistress, and remains tantalisingly intrigued by Mr. Joseph, the groundskeeper (Vincent Lindon).
