Finding Phong

// Plot_Synopsis

Phong is a 27-year-old from central Vietnam. The youngest of four siblings, Phong is the only college graduate in the family. Despite his professional success, Phong is lonely and distressed. Since he was a young boy, Phong believed he was a girl trapped in a male body. Phong dreams about physically changing his gender, but this is not an easy choice in a conservative culture like Vietnam. In fact, sex-reassignment surgery is not even allowed in Vietnam - but Thailand is only a short plane-ride away, and there the operation is routine. As the transition process begins, Phong must also "come out" and dress and live like a woman for at least six months before the surgery.
