// Plot_Synopsis

"Architecture is about making the world a little more like our dreams."

Bjarke Ingels is one of the leading visionaries of modern architecture, whose magnificent works have become staples, not only in his home country of Denmark, but also the lofty Manhattan skyline.

Official selection at Chicago International Film Festival and DOC NYC International Film Festival, Kaspar Astrup Schroder's documentary chronicles Ingels' life, from his childhood passion for comics, through to his formative years as a professional architect. Ingels has led his firm, the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), through multiple landmark construction projects, including the Lego House, Danish Maritime Museum and a new skyscraper for the World Trade Center. Yet, Ingels' professional life was put on hold when an MRI scan revealed a cyst on his brain. Though crippled by anxiety, Ingels nevertheless strived to reach further heights in his career.
