An Elephant Sitting Still

The film follows four individuals in China as they seek a modicum of solace in this broken world. As their lives crumble over the course of a single day, the four are drawn towards the northern city of Manzhouli, where an elephant sits in a zoo, refusing to eat or move, as if stunned into stillness by the indifferent cruelty of existence.
