Fahrenheit 11/9

// Plot_Synopsis

While received initially as another attack on the presidency of Donald Trump, this documentary must be read within Michael Moore's longer critique of problems of capitalism and governance across the U.S., and the possibilities of citizen action in terms of problems ranging from contaminated water in his hometown, Flint, Michigan, to local politics in West Virginia. Yes, there is plenty of sharp critique of Trump, but a film that begins with Democratic tears also includes democratic hope and calls to action.
