Degas: Passion For Perfection

// Plot_Synopsis

An essential pillar of 19th century French Impressionism, painter and sculptor Edgar Degas defined the Fine Art landscape for decades to come. He strived to capture everyday life in his art, yet behind every effortless stroke and flawless carving lies Degas’ obsessive qualities.

From the exhibition at The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge to the streets of Paris, Exhibition On Screen closely examines the exquisite details of Degas' masterpieces, some that were kept in private during his lifetime; while exploring the complex personal journey in the genius' mind, through intimate letters and written accounts from friends, commentators and Degas himself.
