When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey, which she finds in the basement. Alice begins enjoying games with Chauncey that quickly transition from innocent playfulness to something dark and sinister. As Alice’s behaviour becomes increasingly concerning, Jessica intervenes, soon realising that Chauncey is much more than a stuffed toy bear... and connects to her own long-forgotten past.
