However, his clever usage of light and form and creation of domestic scenes did not gain fame until the late 19th century, two centuries after his death. Today, admirers and appreciators of Vermeer’s trek across the globe with the yearning of seeing his works in the flesh.

Displaying 28 artworks including Woman Holding a Balance, The Milkmaid and the iconic Girl with a Pearl Earring, Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition gives art lovers a chance to peruse the brilliance of Vermeer without having to travel to the Netherlands.
