The Croods

The Croods tells the story of the world's first modern family. It takes place during a previously undiscovered epoch known as the Croodacious Era - a time when Mother Nature was still heavy into experimentation, resulting in a planet filled with extraordinarily bizarre flora and fauna. It is into this comedically dangerous world that the Crood family must venture in search of a new home after their cave is destroyed. As if survival of the fittest isn't challenging enough, patriarch Grug soon encounters someone who is a good deal fitter - an imaginative young nomad named Guy (Ryan Reynolds), who is smitten with Grug's teenage daughter Eep. Ultimately, the Croods manage to evolve, conquering their fear of the outside world and discovering that they have exactly what it takes to survive - each other.
