Rachel Getting Married

Kym (Anne Hathaway) is a recovering drug addict temporarily off rehab to attend her sister Rachel's (Rosemarie DeWitt) wedding. With profuse hand-held shots, we get a feeling that we are watching a home video documenting a wedding party filled with lovely guests and live music. This is an unconventional wedding, featuring multicultural guests, bride and bridesmaid wearing Indian sari, sexy samba dancers, and the constantly smoking and unstable Kym, whose rehab experiences embarrass Rachel and unleash memories of family tragedy and tensions.
