Deng Jiaxian

China built its first atomic bomb in 1964, and followed by the hydrogen bomb three years later, elevating her status to an international power. Deng Jiaxian, the "Father of the Bombs" and study mate of Nobel Prize winning physicist Franklin Yang, returned to China in 1950 after his studies in the US. After Deng has accepted the mission, he totally immersed himself in the research despite great difficulties, paying his family life and even his life.
