The Friends At The Margherita Café

18 year old Taddeo works as the chauffeur for the neighbourhood's most glamorous resident, hence gaining access to the cafe and witnesses the colourful lives of some of its regulars. Lifted by jazzy incidental music, the film - through its loosely constructed narrative - tells the story of a time in which Italians were carefree and innocent, and perhaps capable of the best cynicism possible.
