Amreeka

Amreeka follows Muna, a non-religious Palestinian and a single mother, as she fulfils her dream of emigrating with her son to the United States. But their arrival, just after the start of the Iraq war, is inopportune, and their life in small-town Illinois is punctuated with discrimination as well as hope.
