Memories Of A Burning Tree

Nominally following the travails of young people set adrift in Dares Salaam, it begin with Smith, a young graduate looking for his mother's grave. He befriends Link, a tourist guide, and later meets Toatoa, a metal scavenger, and his prophetic sister Grace. It all adds up to a snapshot of modern Africa: enigmatic yet full of untapped possibilities.
