Her Name Is Sabine

// Plot_Synopsis

It is rare for public figures to lay bare their personal lives, let alone a part of their lives that hasn't been airbrushed for public consumption. But the French actress Sandrine Bonnaire chooses to share with us the story of her sister Sabine, whose suffers autism but was undiagnosed for over two decades. Sabine was sent to the mental institutions for five years before diagnosis confirmed her autism. By then, the once vivacious and inquisitive girl with an infections smile (as seen from snippets of home movies) had become sluggish, mildly violent and fearful of abandonment.
