Incantato

Set in Rome and Bologna this film tells the story of Nello Balocchi a shy and clumsy 35 year old academic, sent by his father - a pragmatic businessman and womanizer who is the Pope's tailor - to teach in Bologna in the hope that he will find a wife and give the family an heir. In Bologna he shares a room in a guesthouse with a Neapolitan barber, who gives him advice on romance. While he is a talented teacher, he is unsuccessful with women until one day, by chance, he meets Angela Gardini at a tea dance in a home for blind women. Angela lost her eyesight in an accident. Their meeting blossoms into an unpredictable love story which turns Nello's life upside down.
