Behind Blue Skies

17-year-old Martin is the eldest son of a working class family. His father is an alcoholic; his mother is a long-suffering housewife. One summer, Martin’s wealthy friend Micke, invites him to a resort island in Stockholm. Soon, Martin finds a job at a restaurant on the island and meets his true love for the first time. Even though the hotel manager Gösta rules the place with an iron-fist, young Martin leaves Gösta a great impression after an incident. Ever since then, Martin is being groomed by Gösta, a playboy in the centre of high society, and Martin is inevitably drawn into one of the greatest scandal of all times in Swedish crime history.
