Enter The Void

The narrative concerns a young American drug dealer in Tokyo, though this is merely a set-up for the man's acid trip vision after death. Abortion, violence, extensive drug use and explicit sex are all graphically depicted. But the direction is stunning, especially the innovative use of cranes that take us above the cityscape, all the while tracking the action below. The finale alone is a mind trip unlike anything else in cinema.
