The World Warriors are officially back. Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment have released the first trailer for the live-action Street Fighter reboot, scheduled for a theatrical release in Hong Kong and Singapore on October 16, 2026. and Taiwan and Japan on October 17. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film is a stylised origin story set in 1993, following Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) as they are recruited by Chun-Li (Callina Liang) for the World Warrior Tournament.
The trailer features high-octane combat with "game-accurate" moves like Hadoukens and Shoryukens, alongside an eclectic cast including Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog.
