Ed O'Brien has released “Incantations”, the sweeping opening track from his highly anticipated second solo album, Blue Morpho. Following the release of the title track in March, “Incantations” serves as a nearly eight-minute immersive journey that sets the tone for the full record, which arrives on May 22, 2026. Produced by Paul Epworth and Riley MacIntyre, the track highlights O’Brien’s evolution toward uncharted combinations of psychedelic folk and orchestral soundscapes.
A companion short film, Blue Morpho: The Three Act Play, is set to premiere alongside the album next month.
