Bridge Over Troubled Water

In 2009, the rural township of Jiaxian in Kaohsiung was devastated by Typhoon Morakot. Struggling to rebuild and recover, the people of Jiaxian would find courage and inspiration from an unlikely source: a group of elementary school children competing in a tug-of-war tournament. Despite the lack of proper training facilities and equipment, the kids not only pull themselves to victory, but they also pull up the spirits of a grieving community.
