Tora-san, The Matchmaker

Tora-san meets an innocent and emotional girl Hitomi, who comes from a wealthy family, on his way to Hokkaido when she was having second thoughts about her wedding. Tora-san tries to help her to gather herself and prepare to get married. However, she manages to run away before the actual ceremony. She arrives at Tora-san's home in her wedding dress. Tora-san immediately agrees to hide her in the house. One day, her fiance, Kunio, comes to find her. He has left his parents and is now living alone. Hitomi is moved by his will to change and agrees to get married with him again. A happy ending for the couple, but another sad story for Tora-san.
