New Order Reborn As Bad Lieutenant

New Order is now officially over. Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Phil Cunningham together with Blur's Alex James formed a new band called Bad Lieutenant. Bernard Sumner told BBC that the new band has completed recording a new album, scheduled for an October release.

"I'm very proud of it, it's a very good album," he said. "It's pretty guitary too because we've got three guitarists in the band." He added that New Order fell into two factions, where there is himself, Stephen and Phil, and the other is Peter Hook, and claimed the latter left the band.
