UA Airport IMAX Opens Today

UA Airport IMAX Theatre, the world's first IMAX Theatre at an airport, has opened today (July 5). The IMAX Theatre is situated in the entertainment zone on Level 6, Terminal 2 at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). It is currently showing the IMAX 3D version of The Amazing Spider-Man. The grand opening ceremony will be held on July 18.

UA Cinemas has spent over HK$20 million to develop the UA Airport IMAX Theatre. It features the largest IMAX giant screen in Hong Kong, at approximately 13.9m high and 22.4m wide, and provides 350 seats.
